We process a minimal amount of data within the game to allow Steam features to function.
Steam Cloud Saves - Your save data is automatically stored on Steam servers via Steam Cloud. Your save data is private to you and only stored in your account. It is not visible to other players.
Steam Leaderboards - If you enable "Steam Highscore Sharing", your best score as well as your replay file is being uploaded to Steam Leaderboards. This leaderboard is being shown in game using your steam name and your replay is publicly available to watch. You can toggle "Steam Highscore Sharing" at any time in the Settings menu. Previously uploaded Leaderboard entries cannot be removed.
Your save data is stored via Steam Cloud to perform our usage relationship with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), so that the game can function. Highscores and replays are transmitted to the Steam Leaderboards solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by enabling "Steam Highscore Sharing" and which you can withdraw at any time with future effect.
Data is processed by Valve Corporation on Steam's infrastructure in the USA. Valve bases this processing on the safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR; details can be found in Valve's Privacy Policy.
We do not operate our own servers and no data is stored ourselves. All the data is stored on Steam's servers and the game reads the data from there. There is no analytics, advertisement or tracking.
Data is stored and processed by Valve Corporation on Steam's infrastructure, governed by Valve's Privacy Policy. We only read and write to and from Steam's API. We do not have separate databases.
You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). As the data is stored on Steam's servers and we have no direct access to it, please contact Valve or use your Steam account settings to exercise these rights for save data. You can disable "Steam Highscore Sharing" at any time in the settings; leaderboard entries that have already been uploaded can no longer be removed. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
